I’m a psychiatrist, and for more than a decade my work has been OCD and anxiety disorders. I trained in psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco, finished in 2014, and stayed on the faculty for eight years. From 2017 to 2023 I co-directed the UCSF Anxiety and OCD Clinic, treating patients and training the residents who are now psychiatrists themselves.
I started Anxiety Relief Clinic so I could spend my time with patients. Everything I do here comes from those years. Careful diagnosis, because OCD and anxiety are often mislabeled. Medication used well, which in OCD means the right drug at the right dose for long enough. And respect for the therapy that does the heavy lifting, exposure therapy.

I practiced for many years as Weston Ferrer, MD, and you may still find me listed that way. Same person.
