Referring a client

Most of our patients come to us from therapists, and it works because we stay in our lane. We do diagnosis and medication. You do the therapy. We don’t duplicate it, second-guess it, or prescribe around it.

What you can expect from us

  • A first visit by video, about an hour, usually within a few weeks, sooner with one of our nurse practitioners.
  • A clear opinion on the diagnosis, which is often the most useful thing we add when a case isn’t moving.
  • Medication used the way the evidence says, with SSRIs at OCD doses for long enough, clomipramine and augmentation when needed, and real caution about as-needed benzodiazepines during exposure work.
  • Contact. With the client’s consent we share the plan after the first visit and we are reachable between visits. If something you see changes the picture, we want to hear it.
  • Your client stays your client.

Who we are right for

Adults 18 and over in California or New York with OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, hair pulling or skin picking, or anxiety after a life change. We also see adults whose main concern is depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD or trauma. We are not the right referral when someone needs more than outpatient care.

How to refer

Send your client the eligibility form, or email info@anxietyreliefclinic.com with the client’s name and your contact details and we will reach out to them. In California we are in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and UnitedHealthcare, including Optum; other PPO plans, and all New York patients, are out of network with a superbill.

Conicia for your clients

Conicia is the OCD program Weston built for the time between sessions. It covers exposure therapy, I-CBT and ACT, and you choose what fits each client. With your client’s permission, a clinician dashboard shows their practice, so you can pick up where they really are. The dashboard comes with the client’s subscription, and clinic patients with OCD get the program free. Conicia for clinicians

Weston also teaches a continuing education course for clinicians through Conicia. The CE course
